Our unique custom designed lugs are machined out of solid brass. This design eliminates the hollow void of the common die-cast lug. That void creates an extraneous air pocket next to the drum.
Drum Solo lugs have minimal shell contact. Our tube lugs
have two small points of contact. By reducing the amount of
contact with the drum, the shell is allowed to vibrate more.
In addition to the unique minimal contact lug design, we’ve
chosen the finest materials for the lugs. All Drum Solo lugs
are machined by hand from solid brass. We’ve specifically
chosen brass for the rich overtones it creates. Horn players
don't settle for anything else, why should drummers?
